This lake is so wonderful. Columbia/camden RV Park is a perfect campground nearby, and don't forget to take a great little trip to Beaverdam Creek. For the duration of the summertime, highs commonly are in the 80's at Carnes Pond with nighttime lows in the 60's. Through the winter       highs are in the 50's while Carnes Pond nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's. There are other locations here than Carnes Pond, for example Ralph Pond; a trip to Congaree Swamp National Monument is recommended. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Green Hill Golf Club is nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Carnes Pond. Stokes Pond                  is a good lake near Carnes Pond.
