This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Camp Longridge Lake gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily March, that's the one that rains the most, and November is the month with the least moisture. A wonderful site for whitewater paddling next to Camp Longridge Lake is Catawba River; lots       of folks from Chester come here. Stay the night at Wateree Lake Campground, and naturally, this is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes, Bowen Upper Pond is a lake in the neighborhood. Throughout the summertime at Camp Longridge Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, generally in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures                  at Camp Longridge Lake plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
