Enjoy a round of golf at Hidden Valley Golf Club not far from Calmont Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Calmont Pond has to offer, you can camp at Wheat water Lake Campground. Just can't get enough of Calmont Pond. After a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn Cayce is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and Ramada Inn is a brilliant spot to get some rest. If you get bored of Calmont       Pond, you could also check out close by Huckabaas Millpond; you'll most likely meet some folks from Columbia here. A visit to Congaree Swamp National Monument is worthwhile; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Saluda River. Throughout the summertime at Calmont Pond temperatures are typically in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 50's with temperatures                  at Calmont Pond dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Calmont Pond gets much water; through the month of July you get the most rain around here while October is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
