Cain Millpond gets lots of water; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and November is when it's the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Inn; if you're here you can play some golf at Sumter National Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Americas Best Value Inn is a pleasant site to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Cain Millpond that you need to camp here for a while, Elliott's Landing       and Campground is a delightful spot for that. Nasty Branch flows through this region, and folks from Sumter love to come here. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Cain Millpond. All through the long summer days highs here at Cain Millpond reach the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's; overnight lows at Cain Millpond throughout the winter regularly sink into the 30's.
