If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on South Saluda River; if you came for an overnight stay Palmetto Cove is a perfect site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of precipitation       falls at Burgess Pond; during the month of March you get the most rain around here while January is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. This is a nice neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Twelvemile River Watershed 12 Reservoir is a lake close at hand; there's some flowing water nearby, Raven Branch is a stream you can check out while here. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Jones Lake; a wonderful                  site for whitewater paddling is Carrick Creek.
