The high level of precipitation makes Brunson Pond a pretty wet place; during July this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is November. Throughout the warm months here at Brunson Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's with temperatures at Brunson       Pond dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Days Inn. Orangeburg - Days Inn South is a glorious spot to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Brunson Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mountaineer Motel is a good place for that.
