Broad River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there are other sites here than Bruners Pond, for example Spring Valley Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop by Entrance Lake Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Capital City Campground is a wonderful local campground, and whitewater paddling is good on Saluda River. The high level of rain makes Bruners Pond a rather wet location; through       March this area sees the most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. Bruners Pond is a great site to visit for more than one day, Sesquicentennial State Park is a great site to camp nearby. Lakes? Sure, Simpson Pond is in the neighborhood. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Bruners Pond. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 50's; through the dark                  hours in the winter at Bruners Pond temperatures fall to the 20's.
