Beautiful Browns Pond has much to offer visitors. There's so much to do here at Browns Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Springwood RV Park is a nice spot for that; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Reedy River. Little Grove Creek is a pleasant location to stop by, and if you need a spot to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a glorious choice.

Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 50's with temperatures at Browns Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Browns Pond. An afternoon playing golf at Donaldson Golf Club is always a delight, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Greenville I-85@Augusta Road is a fine spot to spend a night or two. | |

A great place for whitewater paddling right next door to Browns Pond is Saluda River, and a lake close by is Prince Lake.
Browns Pond is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most
rain; the driest month is September. This lake is so wonderful. Browns Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Paris Mountain State Park is a fine local campground, and Browns Pond is a place with many visitors from Greenville.
