During the summertime highs here at Brooker Pond get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Brooker Pond are in the 30's. You'll find a lovely lake called Pooles Upper Millpond near Brooker Pond, and get wet paddling       on Saluda River. The high level of rainfall makes Brooker Pond a reasonably wet place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is November. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll like Brooker Pond. The good people of Columbia like to hang out close by, and Congaree Swamp National Monument is a nice national park. Camping is available at Edmund RV Park, and if you need a site to stay Country Hearth Inn Cayce                  is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful.
