There's so much to do here at Briggs Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Flynn's Inn Camping Village is a splendid place for that. If you're here at Briggs Pond and you like golf, you can take a look at The River Golf Club. The high level of rain makes Briggs Pond a relatively wet place; the wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is November.       Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Lake Olmstead, and Briggs Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Betty's RV and Trailer Court is a fine local campground. So much entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Briggs Pond, absolutely phenomenal. Here at Briggs Pond there are plenty of people from Augusta-Richmond County; after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Medical Center Area is a fine site to spend a night or                  two. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Savannah River next to Briggs Pond; going for a hike on the Horn Creek Hiking Trail is always a tremendous adventure. For the period of the summer here at Briggs Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Briggs Pond dipping down into the 30's during winter nights.
