Having a tremendous time at Boyds Pond One is simple. Capital City Campground is a pleasant campground here, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Columbia I-20 @ Clemson Road is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Northwoods Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time, and there's whitewater on Broad River for       all you adrenaline junkies. A great deal of rainfall falls at Boyds Pond One; the month with most of the rain is March, and November is when it's the driest. Boyds Pond One is a site with many visitors from Columbia, and if you came for an overnight stay Bethel Campground is a wonderful place to camp. Bells Pond is a nice lake next to Boyds Pond One; naturally, all our national parks are good sites to stop at and Congaree Swamp National Monument is no exception.                  Entrance Lake Dam is not far at all from Boyds Pond One, and after a long day outdoors Wingate by Wyndham - Columbia - Northeast is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Boyds Pond One mostly tend to be in the 90's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, regularly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's while Boyds Pond One nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
