There are plenty                  of folks from Seneca here at Bookers Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Flat Shoal River offers some delightful whitewater. If you need a spot to stay Jameson Inn Seneca is a nice choice, and Browns Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Scaly Mountain has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff; get yourself into a kayak and hit Oconee Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Walhalla Reservoir; do take a hike on the Foothills Trail. Camping at Cherry Hill is always a wonderful experience.
