What a nice lake Boat Lake is. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Giles Bay is right nearby, and swing by Alligator Run it's a magnificent spot to explore. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Marion is a perfect choice; not far from Boat Lake you'll stumble on Big Brown Lake which is a gorgeous lake. The high level of precipitation makes Boat Lake a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls through July while November is usually the driest month.

| | Summertime highs at Boat Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's.
