There's so much to do here at Blackmonds Pond that you need to camp here for a while, All Seasons Family       Campground is a good spot for that, and there are some great whitewater spots on South Tyger River. A quick trip to Burnt Mill Creek near Blackmonds Pond is a good idea, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Inns Laurens is a nice location to spend a night or two. The high level of rainfall makes Blackmonds Pond a pretty wet spot; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October.
