Big Pond sees pretty       high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is November. Any time is a great time at Big Pond if you go for the outdoors. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Fort Pulaski National Monument is worthwhile, and hey, Boyd Creek is a brilliant local stream. Throughout the warm months at Big Pond temperatures are usually in the 90's while overnight lows are mostly                  in the 60's.
