There's so much to do here at Betheas Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Andrew Jackson State Park is a nice site for that, and a delightful nearby hotel is Best Western Of Lancaster. Betheas Pond gets a great deal of water; March is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is April. Lakes are glorious; Betheas Pond is a lake that's right next door to Betheas Pond, and if you need a place       to stay Travelodge Lancaster is a perfect choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A round of golf at nearby Lancaster Golf Club is a good way to kill some time. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Betheas Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cane Creek Park, and getting to Dry Branch from Betheas Pond is painless. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Catawba River; there are plenty of folks from Lancaster                  here. During the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Betheas Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's.
