This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Batson Pond that you need to camp here for a while, The Flowermill RV Park is a perfect site for that; a quick visit to Long Branch is absolutely a good idea. Dry warm beds await you at Travelers Motel; there are other places here than Batson Pond, for example Coleman Pond. Float down the rapids of Reedy River in a kayak, and       there are plenty of folks from Greenville here at Batson Pond. You clearly must have a thing about Batson Pond. Paddling on North Saluda River is so much fun. Batson Pond is a wet location that gets lots of rainfall; through March this area sees the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
