Dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Travelers Rest, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on North Saluda River. Lakes are fine;                  Coleman Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Batson Pond, and Batson Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, The Flowermill RV Park is a glorious local campground.
