You're sure to run into some good people from Newberry here. Camping is available at Cedar Pond Campground, and Southwood Manor Bed & Brkfst is a magnificent place to get some rest. Camping at Saluda River Resort is always a fine experience, and a nice close by hotel is Southern Inn. Throughout the summer, highs commonly are in the 90's at Amicks Pond. Throughout the dark hours of       summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Amicks Pond are in the 30's. Amicks Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while November is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
