If you are in Oconee county it's always a good idea to stop by Adams Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great earth it would be. Keowee Falls RV Park is a glorious campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Seneca-Days Inn Clemson is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. Going for a hike on the Burrells Ford Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and if you've had enough of Adams Pond, Coneross Creek Reservoir is nearby. Adams Pond is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Yellow Branch Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby, and a great nearby hotel is Jameson Inn Seneca. Trail which is a good hiking trail, naturally you could also stop by Coneross Watershed 9-A Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. At Adams Pond during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. During the
moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Adams Pond tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There is a brilliant
hiking trail near Adams Pond called the Chattooga Trail; get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Cedar Creek. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Chauga River, and during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Seneca for sure.
