Adams Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Kings Mountain State Park is a tremendous local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Broad River. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Clover Colonial Motel is a fine location to spend a night or two; a delightful site to camp here at Adams Lake is Woodland Park Campground. The high       level of precipitation makes Adams Lake a relatively wet location; March is the wettest month with most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Royal Inn York, and Spring Lake Country Club is a good golf course nearby. Take a little journey to Gin Branch if you're here at Adams Lake, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Kings Branch. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Adams Lake get into the 80's, and the night is quite colder of course, commonly in the 60's.
