Acres Pond is a reasonably wet place frequently with a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the summertime here at Acres Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 90's, and through the night       it cools down to the 70's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 50's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Acres Pond tend to be in the 30's. You could also go to Dixon Pond since you're here at Acres Pond; it's nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Sesquicentennial State Park is a delightful place to camp. Just can't get enough of Acres Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Broad River, and on a beautiful day you                  get a great view of Sand Mountain from Acres Pond.
