Dixon Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at; there are plenty of people from Columbia here. Congaree Swamp National Monument is a great national park. Acres Pond gets a large amount of water; July is the month that gets the most rain while October is commonly the driest month. Acres Pond is a tremendous location to camp, Barnyard RV Park is a tremendous location, and enjoy a round of golf at Charwood Golf Club.       Sand Mountain can be spotted from Acres Pond, and Country Hearth Inn Cayce is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Saluda River in a kayak; dry warm beds await you at Masters Inn Columbia-I-26. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great globe it would be. Paddling on Broad River is so much fun, and camping at Acres Pond is nice fun, Sesquicentennial State Park is a nice local campground. Summer                  brings highs in the 90's to Acres Pond while night lows are ordinarily in the 70's.
