Sure, Teagues Lake is just a very short distance away. Abbotts Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March; November is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Suites Simpsonville is a great site to get some rest; if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling       on South Tyger River. Yeah, come here to Abbotts Pond for a wonderful time. If you came for an overnight stay Musgrove Mill state Historic Site is a great place to camp, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Reedy River.
