There's just no way somebody can get bored here at York Pond. An afternoon playing golf at Silver Spring Golf Course is always a delight, and dry warm beds await you at Radisson Hotel Providence Harbor. Get yourself into a kayak
and hit Clear and Branch; a day at beautiful Frank Moody State Beach near York Pond is a tremendous thing to do. If time allows, Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth going to, and Camp Finberg
is a delightful campground nearby. For the duration of the days of summer at York Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the
30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for York Pond. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Pawtucket is a splendid choice, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Central Pond. This lake
is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Yawgoo Valley, and Omega Pond Dam is a pretty place. All the water falling down from the sky makes York Pond a wet spot; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
