Worden Pond usually gets a lot of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Great Swamp is right close by, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Yawgoo Valley. Dry warm beds await you at West Greenwich Super 8 Motel, and the Narragansett Trail is a perfect hiking trail       close by. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn South Kingstown (Newport Area) is a great spot to spend a night or two, and get drenched paddling on Matunuck Shore Break. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Worden Pond. While you're here at Worden Pond you have to take a look at Case Point, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Roy Carpenters Beach. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Worden                  Pond you will meet lots of people from nearby Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, and getting to Alewife Brook from Worden Pond is trouble-free. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Card's Camp is a tremendous location to camp; an afternoon playing golf at Laurel Lane Country Club is always a delight. Be careful coming to Worden Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. Tucker Pond is a splendid lake near Worden Pond, and camping is available at Worden's Pond Family Campgrounds. Lakes are such calm spots, why not explore Round Pond in the vicinity of Worden Pond; a nice beach close by is Willow Dell Beach. You can catch a glimpse of Broad Hill from Worden Pond, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Clayhead Nature Trail. Summertime highs at Worden Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
