The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Wincheck Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quinebaug River. This lake is so wonderful. Matunuck Shore Break has a magnificent whitewater       paddling spot close by, and Long Pond Dam is a pretty place, unquestionably worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn and Suites Stonington, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Narragansett Trail. Wincheck Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Greenwood Hill Family Camp Ground is a great local campground, and a golf course nearby is Fenner Hill Country Club. Wincheck Pond in fact is                  in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. A tremendous site to camp here at Wincheck Pond is Whispering Pines Campground, and while you're here, you could stop at Log House Brook. The skiing at Yawgoo Valley is glorious, and Budget Inn-Near Foxwoods is a magnificent site to get some rest. You could also stop by Wincheck Pond since you're here at Wincheck Pond; it's close by, and you should beyond doubt take a look at pretty Browning Mill Pond Area Beach since you're here. The high level of precipitation makes Wincheck Pond a pretty wet site; November is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
