All through the summertime months highs here at Wincheck Pond reach the 80's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Wincheck Pond during the winter regularly fall       into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Quinebaug River in a kayak; while here here do have a look at close by Browning Mill Pond Area Beach. All the water falling down from the sky makes Wincheck Pond a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Gotta ski! Yawgoo Valley is a good spot to do that, and if you get bored of Wincheck Pond you could also go to nearby Wincheck                  Pond. Don't forget to take a glorious little trip to Log House Brook, and if you need a place to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Stonington is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Narragansett Trail, and from Wincheck Pond you acquire a nice view of Brightman Hill. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Inn-Near Foxwoods, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Matunuck Shore Break. There's so much to do here at Wincheck Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Pines Campground is a great site for that, and a lake close by is Tippecansett Pond. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Wincheck Pond.
