If you are in Providence county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Washington. You could also stop at Pascoag Reservoir since you're here at Lake Washington; it's close by, and you can stay the night at Bowdish Lake Camping Area. There's great hiking along the Munyan Trail; a lake nearby is Bowdish Reservoir. Throughout the summer at Lake Washington temperatures are frequently in the 80's. (Dayville), Ct. So many cool things to do at Lake Washington, so little time. Good hiking is available along the Walkabout Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Quinebaug River.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Crystal Lake Golf Club, and during your stay here do take a look at close by Flynns Beach. At Lake Washington you can distinguish Durfee Hill; swamps like
Dark Swamp in the neighborhood of Lake Washington make for great locations to visit. All our national parks are delightful places to check out, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception; the
Ross Trail offers hiking at its best. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Washington a quite wet spot; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest
month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Sutton is a good choice. Just can't get enough of Lake Washington. There's so much to do here at Lake Washington that you need to camp here for a while, Oakleaf
Family Campground is a tremendous spot for that, and the good folks of Willimantic like to hang out close by. Visit Paquantuck Brook if you're here at Lake Washington; there are some fine whitewater spots on Clear and Branch.
