Nothing beats kicking back at Grimmells Beach, and after a long day outdoors Travelodge Newport Area/Middletown is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Yawgoo Valley is in the vicinity of Town Pond. All the water       falling down from the sky makes Town Pond a wet spot; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Montaup Country Club, and the smiling folks of Providence-New Bedford-Fall River like to hang out close by. Swamps can be such exciting sites, visit Hessians Hole while you're here at Town Pond, and why not stop by Almy Point also while you're here. At Town                  Pond throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, regularly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Town Pond dip into the 10's. Take a little tour to Bloody Brook if you're here at Town Pond, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Island Park Beach. Man, is there loads of entertaining things to do close to Town Pond. What would a location like Town Pond be without exciting nearby highlights like Ferry Cliff, and Town Pond is a brilliant lake close by. Why not camp at Melville Campground Recreation Area while you're here at Town Pond, and a delightful lake like Cedar Island Pond is a good place to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful.
