The Reservoir regularly gets lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to hit the beach, Conochet Club Beach is close by; drift down the rapids of Matunuck Shore Break in a kayak. This lake

is so wonderful. Budget Inn-N. Kingstown NR Newport is a pleasant site to get some rest; while you're here, you could also stop at scenic Slocum Reservoir.

After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn South Kingstown (Newport Area) is a great site to spend a night or two; a short spree to Goose Nest Spring is always worthwhile.
If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Rolling Golf Course Golf is close by, and you can go for a hike on the Clayhead Nature Trail. If you came to camp Silver Lakes Park is a delightful place to do that; you should definitely have a look at delightful North Kingston Town Beach if you're here.

Echo Lake
16 miles away
Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds.  Takes about an hour, fish are extremly smart and picky.  You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout...Pond has very nice sized bass in it, they are biting all year, the only thing that stinks is the trolling motor only rule after memorial day weekend...

Frontier Family Camper Park
18 miles away
There is really nothing exciting at this park, you must actually leave the park for something to do. Mainly seasonal campers. Nothing for children. If your out for relaxation and staying in your trailer or tent this is the place for you. Or if you want to go traveling to the nearby sites it's fine, but a family campground it is not!...
