Lake Mishnock is a nearby lake that you could check out. There's so much to do here at Sweet Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Sunrise is a fine location for that. Carr River is a pretty stream that is worth checking out; dry warm beds await you at West Greenwich Super 8 Motel. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western West       Greenwich Inn is a tremendous choice; Browning Mill Pond Area Beach is a beach nearby that you can pop by. High temperatures at Sweet Pond through the summer months are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Sweet Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Sweet Pond gets lots of water; during November this area sees the                  most rain while February is frequently the driest month. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Sweet Pond has to offer, you can camp at Colwell's Campground; you'll probably meet some people from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here. For you golfers we recommend close by Coventry Pines Country Club; Hopkins Hill is gorgeous and can be seen from here.
