    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Stump Pond. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Coventry Reservoir Dam in the neighborhood of Stump Pond. Summertime highs at Stump Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Stump Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of Harkney Hill from Stump Pond is striking; the views at  
   Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor will blow your mind.
Stump Pond regularly gets a lot of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. Playing golf is lots of fun at Coventry Pines Country Club, and dry warm beds await you at West Greenwich Super 8 Motel. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable things to do in the vicinity of Stump Pond.                is a wonderful place to camp; Best Western West Greenwich Inn is a magnificent place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. There are brilliant spots to explore along the Walkabout Trail; whitewater paddling is good on Clear and Branch. Go for a hike on the Ross Trail, and Whippoorwill Hill Family Campground is a perfect local campground. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. Boyd Brook is a magnificent local stream, and don't leave Stump Pond without first going for a hike along the Munyan Trail.
Skiing at Yawgoo Valley is one of those things you just have to do. Lakes? Sure, Coventry Reservoir is around here. If you want to check out some out of the ordinary stuff, check out Foster Ledge, and you're sure to stumble upon some smiling folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here. There are other sites here than Stump Pond, for example Reynolds Pond; get covered with water paddling on Quinebaug River.
