And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do right next door to Stone Pond. A lake close by is Randall Pond. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. Dry warm beds await you at NYLO Providence Warwick; the top of Applehouse Hill is easily spotted       from Stone Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Yawgoo Valley close at hand; beaches are good and Twin Rivers Beach is no exception. Camping is available at Holiday Acres Camping Resort; Simmons Lower Reservoir Dam is a stunning spot, without doubt worth going to. The panoramas at Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor will blow your mind, and Dry Brook is right next door to Stone Pond and is always a joy to explore. Stone Pond is                  a place with many visitors from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, and paddling on Clear and Branch is so much fun. Days Inn Cranston/Providence is a great place to get some rest, and Triggs Memorial Golf Course is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Camp Sunrise since you're here at Stone Pond, and since you're here you should have a look at Antushantuck Neck. Stone Pond generally gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Stone Pond during the months of summer are in the 80's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, mostly in the 50's.
