Stafford Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This place, Stafford Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Stafford Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is June. Fedora Point is in the neighborhood and always pleasant to visit, and swamps are attention-grabbing places and Basket Swamp near Stafford Pond is no exception. Sawdy Woods

A day at Teddy Beach next to Stafford Pond is time well spent; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Sawdy Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Somerset is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two, and Montaup Country Club is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Stafford Pond is not far at all from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River; Stafford Pond is nice enough
to spend more than a day at, Westport Camping Grounds is a nice local campground. Yeah, come here to Stafford Pond for a perfect time. At Stafford Pond you can spot Nannaquaket Hill; a great location to camp here at Stafford Pond
is Green Oceans. All through the summertime months highs here at Stafford Pond get into the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and throughout
the dark hours in the wintertime at Stafford Pond temperatures fall to the 10's. Beaches are good; and Brayton Point Beach in the vicinity of Stafford Pond is no exception, and unsurprisingly Stony Brook flows through this region.

 | 13 miles away Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds. Takes about an hour, fish are extremly smart and picky. You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout...Pond has very nice sized bass in it, they are biting all year, the only thing that stinks is the trolling motor only rule after memorial day weekend... |
