Sprague Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Long Cove Camp Sites and Marina is a perfect campground nearby, and from Sprague Pond you obtain a wonderful vista of Big White Hill. During the long summer days highs here at Sprague Pond reach the 80's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, typically in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Sprague Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so

Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Matunuck Shore Break, and if you're here, do take a journey to Betty Hull Point. and swamps can be such out of the ordinary places, visit Crying Bog since you're here at Sprague Pond. Having a wonderful time at Sprague Pond is trouble-free. You could also explore Indian Run Reservoir while you're here at Sprague
Pond; it's nearby; Budget Inn-N. Kingstown NR Newport is a splendid place to get some rest. Fisherman's Memorial State Park is a good local campground, and Yawgoo Valley has nice slopes and a friendly staff. Don't leave Sprague

 | 18 miles away Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds. Takes about an hour, fish are extremly smart and picky. You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout...Pond has very nice sized bass in it, they are biting all year, the only thing that stinks is the trolling motor only rule after memorial day weekend... |
