Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the neighborhood of Sprague Pond. Time spent at Conochet Club Beach right next door to Sprague Pond is always great; why not visit Betty Hull Point also if you're here. Sprague Pond gets much water; the month with most of the rain is November while February is frequently the driest month.       This lake is so wonderful. Here at Sprague Pond there are plenty of people from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, and don't miss out on a fine swamp; Crying Bog is right here at Sprague Pond. All through the summer at Sprague Pond highs are typically in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Sprague Pond during                  the wintertime generally drop into the 10's. Sprague Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Long Cove Camp Sites and Marina is a good place to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn South Kingstown (Newport Area) is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. If you get bored of Sprague Pond, you could also have a look at nearby Indian Run Reservoir, and on a beautiful day you can stop by Scarborough State Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Crooked Brook from Sprague Pond is uncomplicated. This lake is so wonderful.
