A visit to Social Pond is always a good idea. The high level of precipitation makes Social Pond a relatively wet place; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. There is a perfect hiking trail in close proximity to Social Pond called the Walkabout Trail; naturally Arnolds Brook flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! On a great day at Social Pond you can take a hike along the Ross Trail, and a great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Woonsocket, Ri. This lake is so wonderful. Farm Campground is a tremendous spot to camp, and Coblin Rock is a wonderful place to stop by while in the neighborhood.
And that's not all you can do here at Social Pond. If you get bored of Social Pond, you could also visit
close by Forge Pond. Holiday Acres Camping Resort is a pleasant campground nearby, and if you want to hit the beach, State Park Beach is close by. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in the neighborhood
of Social Pond has to offer. A spree to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is recommended, and Quality Inn Smithfield is a glorious place to get some rest.
Through the summertime at Social Pond highs are frequently
in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Social Pond. Paddling on Clear and Branch is so much fun, and playing golf is lots of fun at Bungay Brook Golf Club.
