You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the area right next door to Slack Reservoir has to offer. This is a good vicinity for people who like lakes. Sprague Lower Reservoir is a lake around here, and the Munyan Trail offers hiking at its best. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Smithfield, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Yawgoo Valley is reasonably near. During your stay       at Slack Reservoir do pop by close by Slacks Pond Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Camp Sunrise is a good local campground, and swing by Nine Foot Brook it's a great place to visit. Nearby lakes? Sure, Hawkins Pond is next to Slack Reservoir, and a trip to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile.
