Do stop by Sisson Pond while you're in this part of Rhode Island. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Middletown is a fine location to get some rest, and Sisson Pond Dam is a scenic place, certainly worth checking out. Sisson Pond is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Melville Campground Recreation Area is a glorious site to camp nearby, and on a lovely day you can pop by Sandy Point Beach. During the long summer days at Sisson Pond highs are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Sisson Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. A visit to nearby Carr Point is very relaxing, and if you're stopping by from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. | |

The snow is perfect at Yawgoo Valley, and get covered with water paddling on Matunuck Shore Break.
If the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a splendid panorama of Slate Hill from Sisson Pond, and a golf course nearby is Green Valley
Country Club. A trip to Atlantic Beach near Sisson Pond is always a perfect idea; since you're here, you might as well have a look at Lawton Valley. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Dry warm beds await you at Middletown
Travelodge. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Sisson Pond has to offer, you can camp at Meadowlark RV Park.
