This lake is so wonderful. The nice folks of Providence-New Bedford-Fall River like to hang out nearby, and Burnt Hill is clearly visible from Scituate Reservoir. You need to stop by Indian Rock since you're here at Scituate Reservoir, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Pine Swamp is right close by. For you golfers we recommend nearby Cranston Country Club; if you've had enough of Scituate Reservoir, Pawtuxet River       is nearby. There's whitewater on Matunuck Shore Break for all you adrenaline kick people, and camping is available at Camp Sunrise. Scituate Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. Throughout the summertime months here at Scituate Reservoir, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the                  winter are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Scituate Reservoir. If time allows, Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth taking a look at, and a good close by hotel is Fairfield Inn & Suites Coventry. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clear and Branch, and going for a hike on the Munyan Trail is always a great adventure. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Scituate Reservoir. Near Scituate Reservoir you locate the Walkabout Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, naturally you could also have a look at Burlingame Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. This place, Scituate Reservoir, it absolutely has so much outdoors cool stuff. If you need a place to stay Residence Inn Providence Coventry is a brilliant choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Holiday Acres Camping Resort is a tremendous place to camp. The skiing at Yawgoo Valley is good, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Ross Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
