     Scituate Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. If you come at the right time of year, Clear and Branch offers some glorious whitewater, and Scituate Reservoir is not far at all from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River. Scituate Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Holiday Acres Camping Resort is a tremendous local campground, and Gainer Memorial Dam is picturesque. High temperatures at Scituate Reservoir through the summertime are  
   in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Scituate Reservoir.
There are some fine whitewater spots on Matunuck Shore Break, and the Ross Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. A pleasant place to camp here at Scituate Reservoir is Colwell's Campground; you ought to unquestionably visit Indian Rock during your stay. This location is excellent, just look
 
               at all the exciting stuff to do close to Scituate Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Sun Valley Motel is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and nearby you find the Walkabout Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
So many enjoyable things to do at Scituate Reservoir, so little time. Scituate Reservoir gets a good deal of water; November is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Yawgoo Valley is a very popular ski area close at hand; it's a perfect idea to stop at Burlingame Brook. This lake is so wonderful. At Scituate Reservoir you can see Burnt Hill, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a great national park.
