 | 11 miles away Echo Lake is the best fishing lake in northern R.I. It has large mouth bass, pike, pickeral, and several varieties of pan fish. I have been fishing this lake for 45 years and it still produces some real fine fish....Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds.
