Saint Marys Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you need a place to stay Middletown Travelodge is a splendid choice; Carr Point is very near and is a pleasant location to go to. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well stop by Lawton Valley, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a good site nearby. All the outdoors exciting stuff close to Saint Marys Pond will keep you coming back

A magnificent panorama of wonderful Slate Hill is available from Saint Marys Pond, and enjoy a round of golf at Green Valley Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Middletown, and do stop at Saint Marys Pond Dam if you're here. A lake nearby is Lawton Valley Reservoir, and camping at Meadowlark RV Park is always a nice experience.

Point Beach, and Saint Marys Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Melville Campground Recreation Area is a great local campground. If you come at the right time of year, Matunuck Shore Break offers some brilliant whitewater;
Peckham Beach is a beach nearby that you can go to.
Through the long summer days highs here at Saint Marys Pond get into the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally
in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Saint Marys Pond dip into the 10's. The skiing at Yawgoo Valley is fine, and you'll meet a lot of people from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here.
