Just can't get enough of Ross Pond. Near Ross Pond you find a golf course called Crystal Lake Golf Club, and if you have time to spare, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth going to. The high level of rain makes Ross Pond a reasonably wet place; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is February.       Oak Hill is clearly visible from Ross Pond, and don't leave Ross Pond without first checking out Garvy Ledges. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quinebaug River, and Winding Brook Camping Area is a great local campground. Take a hike on the Walkabout Trail, and Pascoag Reservoir is a tremendous lake close by. If you want to hit the beach, Flynns Beach is in the vicinity; you're                  sure to encounter some great folks from Willimantic here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct is a delightful choice, and Wilson Reservoir Dam is a place that is near Ross Pond. Why not camp at Echo Lake Campground if you're here at Ross Pond; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Munyan Trail. You should undeniably pop by stunning YWCA Beach while you're here at Ross Pond; there are other spots here than Ross Pond, for example Wilson Reservoir. Ross Pond is right by the Ross Trail, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Sutton is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summer months at Ross Pond highs are commonly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at Ross Pond during the winter generally fall into the 10's. So many fun things to do at Ross Pond, so little time.
