There's so much to do here at Roosevelt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Holiday Acres Camping Resort is a good location for that, and Burges Cove is not far at all. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Clear and Branch; while you're here, you could go to Mashapaug Brook. If you like skiing,       you're in luck; Blue Hills is near Roosevelt Lake, and Roosevelt Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Sunrise is a magnificent local campground. A day at picturesque Edgewood Beach next to Roosevelt Lake is a fine thing to do; since you're here and you like golf, you can explore Silver Spring Golf Course. Any time is a brilliant time at Roosevelt Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. A day on the slopes of Yawgoo Valley is                  just what you need, and from Roosevelt Lake you acquire a tremendous sight of Wayboussett Hill. This lake is so wonderful. If you're going to Roosevelt Lake from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, you won't be the only one, and do pay a visit to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor since you're here at Roosevelt Lake.
