Rathbon Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. You can run the rapids of Matunuck Shore Break close to Rathbon Pond; camping is available at Colwell's Campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Congdon River is a stream you can go to during your stay; the skiing at Yawgoo       Valley is perfect. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Rathbon Pond. After a long day outdoors Best Western West Greenwich Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two; a good location to camp here at Rathbon Pond is Silver Lakes Park. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Rathbon Pond. Millbrook Pond Dam is not far at all from Rathbon Pond; Rathbon Pond is right by the Narragansett Trail.                  Clear and Branch is a splendid whitewater spot near Rathbon Pond, and golf can be played at Coventry Pines Country Club. Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very fine place to check out near Rathbon Pond; there are other places here than Rathbon Pond, for example Millbrook Pond. There are swamps here too; Money Swamp is in the vicinity; Money Swamp Pond is a fine lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Rathbon Pond you can see Nooseneck Hill, and West Greenwich Super 8 Motel is a splendid spot to get some rest. Browning Mill Pond Area Beach is near Rathbon Pond if you're in a beach type of mood, and if you're visiting from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, you won't be the only one. Summertime highs at Rathbon Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
