All through the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Quonochontaug Pond. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows at Quonochontaug Pond during the winter frequently sink into the 10's. Swamps can be such interesting places, check out Quonochontaug Breachway since you're here at Quonochontaug Pond, and not far from Quonochontaug       Pond you'll find Dam Pond which is a pretty lake. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Quonochontaug Pond. What would winter be without some skiing at Yawgoo Valley; dry warm beds await you at Krystal Penguin Motel. If you need a spot to stay Cornerstone Inn is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Winnapaug Country Club not far from Quonochontaug Pond, and do take a hike on the Clayhead Nature Trail. This lake is                  so wonderful. There's whitewater on Matunuck Shore Break for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and camping at Quonochontaug Pond is great fun, Holly Tree Camper Park is a great local campground. If you want to hit the beach, Sam Ferretti Blue Shutters Town Beach is close at hand, and why not camp at Timber Creek RV Resort since you're here at Quonochontaug Pond. A tour to Quahaug Point right next door to Quonochontaug Pond is always a perfect idea, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Narragansett Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Quonochontaug Pond a quite wet place; the month with most of the rain is November while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
