A great deal of rain falls at Quidnick Reservoir; most of the rain falls during November while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's so much to do here at Quidnick Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Hickory Ridge Campground is a wonderful spot for that, and if the weather is perfect,       you can go for a hike along the Narragansett Trail. Any time is a delightful time at Quidnick Reservoir if you go for the outdoors. Quidnick Reservoir is not far at all from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very nice place to stop by. Best Western West Greenwich Inn is a nice location to get some rest, and get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Clear and Branch. The warmest                  time of the year at Quidnick Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Quidnick Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Hammitt Hill is painless to spot from Quidnick Reservoir, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Walkabout Trail. Why not go to close by McCuster Brook if you're here at Quidnick Reservoir, and the scenery at Quidnick Reservoir Dam is picturesque. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Quidnick Reservoir. For you golfers we recommend close by Coventry Pines Country Club; the Ross Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby.
