The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Prince Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. Shangri La Motel is a great site to get some rest, and Brickyard Pond is a magnificent lake nearby. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Prince Pond has it all. If you're here at Prince Pond and you like golf, you can visit Swansea Country Club, and the view of Nockum Hill is striking. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Prince                  Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Finberg, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Yawgoo Valley. All our national parks are great sites to go to, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception, and Prince Pond is a good site to visit for more than one day, Melville Campground Recreation Area is a good site to camp nearby. Don't forget to take a glorious little journey to Runnins River, and nearby you come across Drown Cove. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Prince Pond you'll probably meet some folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, and Blue Hills has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. Nothing beats kicking back at Warren Town Beach; a beautiful lake like Volpes Pond is a good place to stop by.
