Posneganset Pond is always a pleasure to visit. High temperatures at Posneganset Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while Posneganset Pond night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. | | Heritage Corridor is one of the destinations that are delightful to pop by nearby. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn & Suites Warwick is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and Cunliff Lake is a great lake nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Mashapaug Brook from Posneganset Pond is uncomplicated, and great skiing awaits you at Yawgoo Valley. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Posneganset Pond. | |

A glorious site to camp here at Posneganset Pond is Holiday Acres Camping Resort, and lots of folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River come here. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Blue Hills.
Silver Hook
is an interesting thing to catch a glimpse of since you're here at Posneganset Pond, and Silver Spring Golf Course is a good golf course nearby. Posneganset Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Sunrise is a
delightful local campground. Lakes? Sure, Bellefont Pond is nearby. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. On a good day you can go to Cranberry Bog, a swamp next to Posneganset Pond, and Courtyard By Marriott Providence/Warwick
Airport is a perfect place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Cunliff Pond Dam is worth a visit while you're here, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Edgewood Beach. Clear and Branch has a glorious
whitewater paddling spot close by, and a great beach nearby is Sandy Beach. Posneganset Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July.
