Posneganset Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Holiday Acres Camping Resort is a great local campground; Posneganset       Pond is a location with many visitors from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Posneganset Pond, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, commonly in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Posneganset Pond sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Silver Hook is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Posneganset Pond, and a golf course nearby is Silver Spring Golf Course. You just should go for Posneganset Pond. Copps Cave is in the neighborhood of Posneganset Pond and is a splendid site to stop by; Blue Hills is a splendid local ski area. Do go to Spring Green Pond next to Posneganset Pond, it's a picturesque lake. On a wonderful day it's a perfect idea to spend the day at Edgewood Beach, and swamps like Cranberry Bog are fun to explore. A perfect close by hotel is La Quinta Inn and Suites Warwick Providence Airport, and you can hit the beach if you want, Sandy Beach is practically right here. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Yawgoo Valley is next to Posneganset Pond, and Mashapaug Brook is next to Posneganset Pond and is always a joy to stop by. You assume that's enough?
