     A lake nearby is Rum Pond; you can hit the slopes at Yawgoo Valley nearby. You could also check out Upper Pond if you're here at Point Judith Pond; it's close by; one of the main features of the surroundings of Point Judith Pond is Big White Hill. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A day at beautiful Sand Hill Cove State Beach near Point Judith Pond is a nice thing to do, and a round of golf at nearby Rose Hill Golf Club is a magnificent way to  
   kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Hampton Inn South Kingstown Newport Area is a great choice, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a great place nearby.
It's a wonderful idea to stop at Aguntang Brook, it's near Point Judith Pond. There's so much to do here at Point Judith Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Long Cove Camp Sites and Marina is a brilliant place for that. Much precipitation
 
               falls at Point Judith Pond; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do in the vicinity of Point Judith Pond. Why not stop at a swamp like The Breachway while you're here at Point Judith Pond; if you came to camp Fisherman's Memorial State Park is a good location to do that.
This lake is so wonderful. Galilee Beach Club Beach is near Point Judith Pond and is a pretty beach to stop by, and hiking along the Clayhead Nature Trail is perfect fun. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Point Judith Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Point Judith Pond.
Whitewater paddling is great on Matunuck Shore Break; why not stop by Betty Hull Point also since you're here. Holiday Inn South Kingstown (Newport Area) is a good spot to get some rest, and you're sure to bump into some nice people from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here.
