This lake is so wonderful. Just can't get enough of Phillips Pond. People from Willimantic love to come to Phillips Pond; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Walkabout Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Eisenhower Lake Dam close to Phillips Pond is charming, and       Best Western West Greenwich Inn is a nice place to get some rest. Phillips Pond is a relatively wet place frequently with a great deal of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Factory Brook is a perfect site to go to; you can stay the night at Oak Embers Campground. An afternoon playing golf at Coventry Pines Country Club is always a bliss; on a beautiful day you acquire a magnificent sight of                  Bald Hill from Phillips Pond. A glorious forest close to Phillips Pond is Wickaboxet State Forest, and what would winter be without some skiing at Yawgoo Valley. So many amusing things to do at Phillips Pond, so little time. Have a good hiking adventure along the Narragansett Trail, and Browning Mill Pond Area Beach is rather close by if you're in a beach type of mood. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Quinebaug River; the sights at Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor will blow your mind. Going for a hike along the Narragansett Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; you're possibly addicted to lakes, Eisenhower Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Phillips Pond has to offer, you can camp at Pine Valley RV Campground, and needless to say, this is a good vicinity for people who like lakes, Great Grass Pond is a lake close at hand. At Phillips Pond throughout the summer highs are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's.
