The beauty of Peck Pond attracts many people from all around. Elmwood Hill is clearly visible from Peck Pond, and no need to travel far to stop at interesting stuff like Hemlock Ledges. There's some interesting stuff to make out at Peck Pond Dam near Peck Pond, and if you haven’t been to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here. The Walkabout Trail offers hiking at its best, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Quaddick Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Munyan Trail; a magnificent close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly
(Dayville), Ct. Blackmore Brook is in the vicinity of Peck Pond and is always a joy to have a look at, and Buck Hill Family Campground is a good campground nearby. Man, is there a load of exciting stuff to do near Peck Pond. The Inn
at Woodstock Hill is a brilliant place to get some rest. Lakes are great; Bowdish Reservoir is a lake that's close to Peck Pond. Summertime highs at Peck Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer
temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Peck Pond are in the 10's. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Clear and Branch, and George Washington Memorial State Forest is a nice forest neighborhood close by.
