Elmwood Hill can be observed from Peck Pond, and Peck Pond is a nice lake nearby. The high level of rainfall makes Peck Pond a relatively wet place; November is the month that gets the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. All the outdoors fun stuff close to Peck Pond will keep you coming back time and again. Why not stop by Peck Pond Dam if you're here, and       there's some flowing water close by, Blackmore Brook is a stream you can stop by during your stay. Summer at Peck Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Peck Pond is not far at all from Willimantic, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Clear and Branch.
