Ninigret Pond is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a lot of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Matunuck Shore Break; if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Charlestown Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Ninigret Pond is a delightful place to visit for more       than one day, Burlingame Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby, and swamps can be such out of the ordinary locations, pop by Charlestown Breachway since you're here at Ninigret Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Budget Inn-Near Foxwoods is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and nothing beats kicking back at East Beach. Going for a hike on the Clayhead Nature Trail is always a great adventure. Lakes? Sure, King                  Tom Pond is nearby. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Ninigret Pond. Skiing at Yawgoo Valley is one of those things you just must do, and Deep Pond is a great lake nearby. Why not have a look at Childrens Cove also if you're here, and Sandy Shore Motel and Apts is a splendid location to get some rest. If you want to check out some out of the ordinary stuff, check out Coronation Rock. High temperatures at Ninigret Pond throughout the months of summer are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Ninigret Pond.
